Despite our strong attachment to both France and the road book system, we are always open to new experiences, which is how we recently found ourselves exploring the fabulous trails, food and accommodation of the Chiante region in Northern Italy. We really liked what we saw, but the more we explored the more we realised that, for this region at least, a luxury 'pension', combined with small groups and local guides was the way to go. The result is a truly a la carte enduro holiday where you can pretty much decide when you want to go, who you want to go with, how many days you want to ride and how much you want to suffer! So if you fancy three days of really extreme riding with your mates then that's what you'll get. If on the other hand you want a couple of days relaxed trail riding, some long lunches, a day off and another couple of days in the saddle we can organise that too. As you can see from photos below, the accommodation and food is of a very high standard. In addition the region has many other distractions, from horse riding, to museums, to luxury brand outlet shopping, making it the ideal place for a group of riders to bring their partners or family. As a rough guide, three days full board for a group of between 6 and 8 riders would work out at 810 € per person, with a 5 day trip costing closer to 1200 €. Please don't hesitate to contact us to talk about any project you might have in greater detail.

If you want to, you can do this all day,

though at times Evans found it all a bit hard going!

Alternatively you can stop and admire the scenery,

or ask the guide to take you down some easier tracks,

even stop for a bit of a snack.

Alternatively you could pop back to your 'pension' for a dip in the pool,

or take a well earned siesta - the choice is yours.
